Ahad is a Chicago-based freelance photographer known for his work with landscapes, cityscapes, weddings, portraits, and events. While on a road trip along the East Coast in 2016, he found his love for photography. The following year, he began capturing political protests on the University of Michigan campus in the wake of the 2016 election. After earning recognition from his peers and student organizations, he launched his own freelance photography business in 2017 and has been capturing stories ever since.
His work has been featured by university-affiliated groups such as the University of Michigan Alumni Association and Michigan Daily newspaper, as well as by travel blogs in Iceland, India, Puerto Rico, and Chile. Ahad has also photographed content for freelance dancers in the Chicagoland area and small businesses including Subway and Mighty O’ Donuts in Seattle.
Outside of photography, Ahad is a medical student, avid hiker, Chicago sports fan and lover of spicy food and coffee.
